The language

Fourteen chapters, a concept each, with the samples that show it.

  1. Bindings - let, const, and the compile-time evaluator.
  2. Types - primitives, Array, Option, Result, tuples, function values, conversions, and what copies.
  3. Functions and traits - signatures, default arguments, generics, impl, trait bounds, dyn, unsafe.
  4. Closures - capturing, the closure that can be called once, and sharing one.
  5. Structs, variants and enums - the product type, the two sum types, recursion, and equality.
  6. Control flow - expressions everywhere, for, and pattern matching.
  7. Ownership - moves, the clone rule, and drop.
  8. Borrowing - parameters borrow by default, and the clause that says the rest.
  9. Lifetimes - the inferred region, and what a view may do.
  10. Returned borrows - a parameter handed back, the arguments it is tied to, and where the compiler copies.
  11. Concurrency - fibers, threads, channels, locks and atomics.
  12. Errors - Option, Result, ?, and what a panic is.
  13. Strings - text as UTF-8 bytes, templates, and formatting.
  14. Modules and packages - one file one module, use, talor.mod, talor build.

The standard library has a section of its own: Math lists std.math and the methods of f64.
